Applying for a Visa

If you are coming to study in New Zealand for more than 3 months you need a student visa.

To apply for a student visa, you will need:

the "Application to Study in New Zealand" form from NZ Immigration.
the application fee
your passport
a recent passport sized photograph
an "offer of place letter" from HVHS
evidence of financial support while in NZ
receipt for the course fees paid to HVHS
guarantee of accommodation
a letter from HVHS if you have asked us to arrange your homestay

Send these to your nearest NZ Immigration Branch or New Zealand Embassy or High Commission. In some countries you will need to get an "approval in principle" before paying fees and getting a student visa.
